Garments Dipped In Blood

Garments Dipped In Blood

Rev 19:13.
”He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.”

I have observed that there are some very important clothes in life and some favourites. For instance, no matter how you may love your Tshirts and shorts you need to put on heavy coats and jackets during winter to protect yourself from the biting cold.

Now the same is true for spiritual garments. In as much as we recommend the garments of Salvation and Righteousness as favorites, you dare not leave out the garment dipped in blood, especially in this covid season. The garment dipped in blood is important for several reasons.

  1. Jesus himself wears it in times of battle.
According to our key scripture for today Jesus himself will lead the armies of heaven wearing a garment dipped in blood to conquer evil and execute judgement. (Rev 19:13-14).
  2. The saints in heaven are said to have washed their robes in the blood of the lamb.(Rev 7:14).
Thus garments washed in the blood of Jesus will be worn by the saints in heaven.
  3. Even the the prostitute Rahab saved herself and her family with a scarlet thread that prophetically represented the blood of Jesus.
In Josh 2:18, we read that the premise on which the spies agreed to spare Rahab’s life was “unless when we enter the land you have tied this scarlet cord in the window.” She did this by faith and saved her whole household from perishing.

Dear friend, it is obvious from the above that our salvation, deliverance, protection and victory are all as a result of the covering of the blood of Jesus.

The Bible says, “They overcame him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony”. Rev 12: 11.

Cover yourself today with the garments dipped in blood and save yourself from every looming danger in the atmosphere.
