Do Business Till I Come

Do Business Till I Come

Luke 19:13.
”Then he called his servants and delivered to them ten minas and said to them Do business till I come.”

Yesterday, we learnt about the importance of having a business mindset for kingdom impact. However, from today’s key scripture we are encouraged not just to
have a business mindset, but to continue in business till the Master returns. The Bible says “blessed is that servant who his master finds him doing so when he comes” Luke 12:43. What this means is that:

  1. It’s time to get to work.
Indeed, we must put our hands to the plough and not look back. It’s time to dirty our hands for kingdom advancement. No idling, no spectatoring and no pew warming. Jesus said “why are you standing here all the day idle?” Matt 20: 6b.
  2. Endeavour to finish your work.
It is important to aim at finishing your work and finishing well. Jesus said: “I have finished the work you gave me to do.” Nehemiah finished his work, and so did the apostle Paul. You too, must finish your work.
  3. Expect great rewards
Trust me, our God is a great rewarder and he rewards diligence. The Bible says “God is not unjust to forget your work and labour of love, which you have ministered to the saints and continue to minister”. (Heb 6:10.)

Dear friend, the time to do business for God is now!

The amazing truth is that, they that go down to the sea, to do business, they see the wonders of God in the deep.(Psm 107: 23).

You are next in line for a big catch, as you get occupied in God’s business till He comes.
