1 Chron 12:32.
”From Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do.”
Many people can just not determine what time or season it is; no doubt, this factor alone distinguishes rulers from followers.
Jesus said, “you know how to interpret the appearance in the sky but you do not how to intepret the signs of the times” (Matt 16:3)
The men of Issachar stood out as chief among their brethren because they knew what time it was and exactly what to do. As children of God, we should be able to discern the season we find ourselves in and act appropriately. Here are a few suggestions about the season we are in:
- The end of the times.
Our world is inching to a screeching halt. Everything around us is pointing to that fact, and almost every prediction of our Lord Jesus about his return, has come to pass. - Times of uncertainty
This year in particular has been pretty turbulent. There is uncertainty of what next is about to happen; and even scentists and experts seem to have varying views about the corona virus, its cause or cure. - Times of great opportunity.
Yet, these are great times of opportunity for the Church to preach the Gospel and bring hope to a confused world. It also offers a great opportunity for businesses to strategically position themselves for greater prosperity.
Dear friend, the time for you to arise and shine is now!
The Bible says, “thick darkness is over the people, but the Lord rises upon you and His glory is over you..”!(Isaiah 60:2)
Your story is different. You have a big God on your side, who knows the way and shows the way.
Rise up today and seize the moment by the power of the Holy Spirit.
